“I was never addicted to one thing; I was addicted to filling a void within myself with things other than my own love.” - Yung Pueblo
I am intimately familiar with the insanity of this cycle.
Filling holes with things that never fit.
Endlessly searching for the next thing to make me feel better. Constantly seeking pleasure or avoiding pain. Never able to BE WITH MYSELF.
Even in sobriety, I was stuck in the frequency of addiction. I replaced alcohol with many different things: food, relationships, sex, love, seeking approval, being a certain weight, etc… Until one after another, all those things failed me…and then…I still kept trying to make them work.
They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. But, I have always wondered what you call it when you KNOW it won’t be any different and you still keep doing it. This is my definition of addiction.
I NEVER FOUND RELIEF in simply giving up anything. I only began to feel truly satiated when I started filling myself with LOVE. Even and especially in moments where I didn’t believe I deserved it. Turns out I was looking for love all along, just in ALL the wrong places. Where I turn for that love MATTERS. That is what this community is about for me. Creating a space where folks who are struggling with addiction (aka all of us) can come and be held in love.
This class is open to everyone. To register please make a donation - no one is turned away due to lack of funds please email us if you are in need ❤️
You will receive a reminder email with the link to join 1 hour before class starts❤️
Who is this for?
Sober and sober curious folks
People who want to heal their shame through connection
Those who carry fear around intimacy
Anyone who is interested in liberating themselves from the addictive patterns of numbing
People who are willing to share vulnerably and hold others in a respectful way
Everyone ready to be more honest and loving with themselves and others
*This is not a program to help you get sober. Our nervous system has ways of soothing itself through the patterns we encounter in our own body and in relationships. Anyone who has struggled and who has other outside support for active addictions are welcome. No one will be shamed, judged or turned away due to lack of funds. This is not a replacement for psychotherapy or other treatment programs where you get daily support.
❤️ If you’re struggling with addiction of any kind (substance or behavioral) and are feeling shame or confusion about it, this is for you.
❤️ If you want a space to be witnessed while you discover YOUR TRUTH, this is for you.
❤️ If you want to be able to share and not be given advice or told what to do, this is for you.
❤️ If you’re not sure, and are just curious and wanting a safe space to explore what that looks like, this is for you.

BRANDY CUNNINGHAM
I have been on an ongoing path of discovery for 25 years.
One of the most powerful tools I have used along the way is this: OPENING MY MOUTH AND TELLING THE TRUTH. Even when I feel afraid to let people see me. Even when I feel like I might be rejected. Even when I feel totally underserving of love.
When I do this, it loosens the hold that shame has on me, allows me to feel worthy of receiving love no matter what and helps me to see that I AM NOT ALONE.

“I see you, soulful one.
‘I’m just holding space,’ you say. As if you are not really ‘doing’ anything.
I see you, touching the shame, the pain, the fear. Digging the foundations of your loving presence deeper and wider.
I see you, willing to hold the world in your hands, not looking away from the darkness, not pretending to understand.
I see you, stretching beyond easy answers, the mind-shutting rights and wrongs.
I see you, transformation leader.
I see you stumbling on shaky legs after uprooting the old ways. Fumbling through the unknown to find a truer home.
I see your soul surfacing, sharing its tender wisdom in the space you’ve washed clear with your own tears.
I see your devotion to your own unfolding. The years of practice so you can just hold space
as a ballerina just dances, as a soprano just sings, as a maestro just plays.
I see you, embracing it all so you can just hold space for love.”
