BODY Temple CHURCH

An initiation into the ritual arts of grief, pleasure and devotion.

Four women sitting on a red floor with scattered rose petals and roses, dressed in black, white, and red outfits, with a red background, showing a sense of intimacy and connection.

Somatic training, sacred theater, and erotic intelligence for facilitators, artists, and cultural change-makers.

You’ve done the therapy.
You’ve read the books.
You can name the systems.

But can you stay in your body when intimacy gets real?

Body Temple is for leaders who are done performing consciousness and ready to inhabit it.

Six women posing against a plain wall with relaxed and expressive poses.
A woman in a white dress holding a large black umbrella, standing outdoors in natural surroundings.
Six women dancing and posing together indoors against a plain wall, dressed in casual and dancewear.
Two women dancing in front of a yellow-orange abstract background with a third person's arm partially visible on the right.
Group of five diverse women embracing and smiling, one holding a red rose, in an intimate and joyful moment against a red background.

You are not here to optimize yourself. You are here to embody yourself.

Body Temple is a high-level somatic and ritual training space for those who want to lead without dissociating, teach without bypassing, hold erotic charge without shame, track their nervous system in real time, and transform trauma responses into creative authority.

WELCOME

We share our medicine through Body Temple Dancea guided, free-form, emotional, ecstatic, energetic adn intuitive movement practice with roots in Tantra, Italian Shamanism, trauma healing, ritual theater, and somatic education. We connect the emotional body and soul to the physical and creative.

These spaces welcome grief, rage, devotion, prayer, pleasure, and truth — allowing what has been held in the body to finally move.

Body Temple exists for those who are ready to live out loud, to break free from patriarchal conditioning, and to remember that we are not separate from our bodies, one another, or the Earth. For Embodied Leaders Who Are Done With Numbness and Ready to Command Their Intuition, Desire, and Power.

WHAT IS BODY TEMPLE?

Our work lives at the intersection of ritual theater, grief work, womb devotion, and somatic mysticism.

Body Temple is not a workout.
Not a performance
Not another place to fix yourself.

It is a Pattern Interrupter. It is a RETURN to
RIGHT RELATIONSHIP.

Meet Adriana

Somatic healer, oracle, artist, adult sex educator, trance dance guide, and founder of Body Temple Church.

Adriana Rizzolo — Founder of Body Temple

Adriana Rizzolo is a somatic ritualist, teacher, and founder of Body Temple, with 17 years of devotional training in India studying Kundalini Shakti — the serpent power of consciousness — through the tantric and Bhakti traditions. Her path is rooted in direct relationship to the living sacred feminine as dynamic force: the energy of creation, destruction, devotion, eros, and awakening.

She is trained by Deborah Sundahl in somatic sex education, bringing precise anatomical and pelvic literacy into her work, and has studied Italian shamanism and pre-Christian trance rituals of grief and eros with Alessandra Belloni, weaving ancestral ritual, voice, and embodied devotion into contemporary practice.

Adriana’s work bridges mysticism and nervous system science, sacred theater and relational shadow work. She teaches leaders, facilitators, artists, and cultural change-makers how to work skillfully with the charge of life and death in the body — how to track trauma responses without being possessed by them, how to reclaim erotic intelligence without performance, and how to transform anger, grief, and desire into creative authority.

Her teaching is not about transcendence. It is about inhabitation.

Owning one’s life fully — in service to collective awakening.

  • “To me ritual theatre feels like a mix between performative art, spirituality, archetypal, folklore, and ancestral worship.

It’s a performance that goes beyond self-identity. In ritual theatre we gather and create with the intelligence of the GREAT MOTHER. Her energy flows through us like sparks of lightning, nudging us to speak, move and harmonize to her rhythms. There is nothing left but for us to be SO AWAKE to her energy moving through us.” - Angie

  • “Ritual theatre is a form of darshan, divine sight.

I go into the temple of my body to see what’s lying within, what is ready to be seen when I bring the illumination of my attention, my desires, my fears…and then moving through the process to let it be expressed, to draw it out to the surface and let it be seen by eyes that are not just my own 👁️” - Carly Seller

  • “RITUAL THEATER is quenching a thirst for the art of the Oracle- a practice as old as time,

as we take part in ritual, we are awakening an ancient, ancestral act. It is alive in our blood+bones+soul and opens the opportunity for the divine to be expressed and witnessed through each of our unique channels and voices. It is an offering back to the divine. Both performer and audience are opened by raw creative expression and emotion, deep feeling, laughter and catharsis in a way that no other therapy can move.” - Jenna

  • “Ritual theater creates a safe space where the parts of us patriarchal culture refuses to hold become embodied.

Rage, grief, desire, longing- they take the stage, get witnessed, and leave transformed. It isn’t performance for an audience. It’s the soul finding expression for what societal conditioning has shamed and silenced, in front of people who have the capacity to witness it.” - Christina

  • “Ritual theater is a space of the original oracle, mystics of another dimension.

It's a place of love and truth, one to rehat shows you how to release the harden crystal surround your body.  It'll make you ooze out the gooey innards full of despair and trauma.

Ritual theater is the experience to learn who your soul wants to be that day.”

What is Shadow Theater?

Shadow theater is the art of becoming myth in motion. Figures — bodies, objects — held between a light source and a screen, their silhouettes becoming the story. What lives in shadow steps forward and becomes the performance itself.

It is one of humanity's oldest storytelling arts — woven into ritual, ceremony, and devotional practice across cultures and centuries. Not performance for applause. A listening. An offering. A way of letting the body become a vessel for myth, grief, eros, and prayer.

The shadow is not an absence. It is presence. It is how we give form to what is too ancient, too tender, or too wild to speak directly — and how we move what words alone cannot reach.
