MIRACLES & MADNESS

A 21-Day Somatic Writing Journey Channeling the Voice of the Sacred and the Profane

Unleash the Voice Between Divinity and the Wild Animal of your Body

Overwhelm arises when we have too many insights and not enough EXPRESSION.

Us wild mystics have a lot of Shakti (energy/power) and we need conscious time and space to let it flow so we can feel less consumed by our inner fire, and more ignited and nurtured.

These days, with so much access to teachings and wisdom, it makes sense we can barely make a decision. We need contained space for the wild in us to rawr, and for us to practice trusting what we feel and hear.

Inside of us there are many different voices with many different agendas. Writing can be a powerful tool to help us tune into our deeper, wiser, more helpful and unhinged voices.

How do we learn to trust our deep inherent love? How do we decipher between our fear and our intuition?

What do we do with the weight of shame and uncertainty we encounter going inward, the part of it that is ours to tend to?

Practice, Beloved. Practice.

As healers we ask, “how do I unlock my voice,” and we’ll often say, “read more poetry.”

Want to begin this new year deepening trust with oneself, the Divine and your authentic expression? We are a community of wild mystic artists and lovers of liberation waiting for you to come in, get cozy, amp up your devotion, and let your wisdom flow.

What treasures lie hidden in the space where miracles meet madness?

Throughout history, mystics have channeled liberation through creative expression in writing, in song, sometimes for others, often in private. This winter, we invite you to discover the potent medicine that erupts within you and onto your page.

The Power of Writing and Meditation

These twin practices serve as anchors to the primal yet serene voice of the soul—an invaluable gift for these times. As we navigate this era of transformation, our stories—steeped in raw truth and untamed wisdom—demand to be birthed into existence. It's here, in the dance of the sacred and profane, that our most profound healing emerges.

For many seekers, writing becomes a source of salvation. Not through meticulous, polished prose, but through the wild, embodied act of spilling soul onto page. This method of intuitive reading and responsive writing deepens trust in one's own voice and the truths that pulse through the heart.

We need containers so we can give voice to what is unexpressed within us.

“This writing practice was first introduced to me by my friend and teacher Heidi Rose Robbins and later affirmed again by Mirabai Starr, and at the time it literally saved me from the swamp of shame I was swirling in. These practices showed me the light at the end of a dark tunnel. And more than that, gave me access to the value in my sensitivity and desire for love and liberation. My wild soul wrote its way home to the body and heart again and again.”
- Adriana Rizzolo

“Throughout my spiritual life the most consistent practice I’ve had - even more than meditation - has been writing. I write to get the garbage out of my mind, but more importantly, I write to allow the voice of wisdom and my guides to speak.”
- Harshada Wagner

THE FIRE IN THE SONG by David Whyte

The mouth opens

and fills the air

with its vibrant shape

until the air

and the mouth

become one shape.

And the first word,

your own word

spoken from that fire,

surprises, burns,

grieves you now

because

you made that pact

with the dark presence

in your life.

He said, “If you only

stop singing

I’ll make you safe.”

And he repeated the line,

knowing you would hear

“I’ll make you safe”

as the comforting

sound of a door

closed on the fear at last,

but his darkness crept

under your tongue

and became the dim

cave where

you sheltered

and you grew

in that small place

too frightened to remember

the songs of the world,

its impossible notes,

and the sweet joy

that flew out the door

of your wild mouth

as you spoke.
